Routively Terms of Use
Effective 15 September 2026. These terms apply to Routively's website, travel-planning features, saved trips and one-off paid planning services.
Who provides Routively
Routively is operated by Routively.
Contact: hello@routively.com.
What Routively provides
Routively is a travel-planning and travel-guidance service. It can organise multi-city trips and road trips, suggest routes and stay lengths, produce day-by-day plans, identify accommodation areas, food and activities, estimate planning costs and provide practical travel information.
Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, Routively is not a travel agent, tour operator, airline, accommodation provider, insurer, vehicle-hire provider or booking intermediary. Routively does not make third-party travel bookings on your behalf.
External travel products
Flights, hotels, vehicle hire, ferries, activities, insurance and other travel products are supplied by third parties. Their prices, availability, eligibility requirements, cancellation rules and contractual terms apply to those purchases. Opening a link from Routively does not make Routively responsible for the external provider's service.
Planning information is not a live guarantee
Unless clearly identified as a current supplier result, prices, exchange rates, journey times, weather, opening hours, transport services, entry requirements and availability are planning information rather than guaranteed live quotes. Important information must be rechecked with the relevant provider or official source before booking, travelling or making a safety-critical decision.
Travel safety and road trips
Road routes and driving suggestions are planning aids. You remain responsible for road signs, traffic law, licence and insurance requirements, vehicle restrictions, border rules, weather, fatigue, charging or fuel needs and safe driving decisions. Emergency information, entry rules, local laws and consular guidance can change and should be verified with an appropriate official source when important.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping access to your Routively account secure and for providing accurate information where it materially affects the requested service. Do not share passwords or submit full payment-card details, passport numbers or unnecessary sensitive information through trip notes or support forms.
Free and paid services
Free planning features may be used subject to availability. Paid products are one-off planning upgrades for the relevant trip at the price displayed immediately before checkout. Complete Trip unlocks the detailed planning output for that trip. Trip + Flex includes the stated replanning capability for the same holiday, subject to reasonable use, technical availability and the product description shown at purchase.
Payment and immediate performance
Hosted card checkout is handled by Stripe. Routively does not receive your full card number. Paid access is activated only after the relevant checkout is verified.
Before payment, Routively displays the paid product, price and one-off nature of the purchase. After a verified purchase, Routively sends a contract confirmation to the customer email available for the transaction so the purchase information, legal version and cancellation information can be kept for future reference.
Because paid planning is normally generated immediately after purchase, you will be asked before checkout to request immediate performance or supply of the paid digital planning service and to acknowledge the effect that immediate supply may have on statutory cancellation rights. This does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
UK consumer cancellation rights
If you are a UK consumer, distance-contract cancellation rights may apply. The exact treatment depends on whether the relevant supply is legally characterised as a service, digital content, or a combination. Where you request performance during the statutory cancellation period, the law may permit a proportionate charge for services already supplied. A cancellation right may end once a service has been fully performed following the required request and acknowledgement. For digital content supplied immediately, the cancellation right can be lost only where the statutory conditions for express consent and acknowledgement are satisfied.
See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for how to request cancellation, a refund or another remedy.
Quality of the paid service
Nothing in these terms reduces statutory consumer rights. Where consumer law requires digital content or services to be supplied with reasonable care and skill, as described, or with another statutory standard, those requirements continue to apply.
Reasonable use and prohibited activity
You must not bypass access or payment controls, interfere with Routively's operation, submit unlawful content, attempt unauthorised access, misuse provider services, scrape protected data at scale, use Routively to facilitate unlawful conduct, or place unreasonable automated load on the service.
Intellectual property
Routively's branding, interface, original copy and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party maps, imagery, reviews, place information and other provider data remain subject to their owners' rights and licence terms. You may use a trip plan for your own personal travel purposes but may not represent Routively's software, branding or proprietary content as your own service.
Availability and liability
Routively is designed to be useful and reliable, but online services and third-party data sources can fail or change. Routively is not responsible for losses caused solely by a third-party travel provider's failure, a user's failure to verify time-sensitive information, or events outside reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact Routively through the support form. Payment, account, privacy and service complaints are reviewed through the admin support process. This does not affect any right you have to use a court, regulator or other legally available dispute-resolution route.
Changes to Routively or these terms
Features may change as Routively develops. Material changes affecting an existing paid entitlement will not be applied retrospectively in a way that removes statutory rights. Updated terms will be published with a new effective date and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings that applicable law gives you.
